Scaling (Dental Cleaning)
Hardened deposits are broken down with ultrasonic (piezoelectric) tips and hand scalers. Polishing performed at the end with prophylaxis paste and brushes smooths tooth surfaces, making plaque adherence difficult and cleaning coffee/smoking stains.

Estimated duration: Usually takes 30-45 minutes and is completed in a single session. Recommended every 6 months for a healthy mouth.
