Composite Laminate (Aesthetic Filling)

Unlike porcelain alternatives, it does not require a laboratory phase and is generally applied in a single session with a 'direct' technique. The biggest advantage is minimal or no abrasion of the tooth structure (non-prep). It is effective in masking discolored teeth and rapidly rehabilitating minor crowding. However, due to the porous nature of the material, the risk of staining over time is higher than porcelain.
