Crown Removal

During the procedure, it is essential to preserve the integrity of the underlying prepared tooth tissue (abutment). The cement bond is loosened with ultrasonic tips by vibration, or incisions are made on the crown with high-speed diamond burs to section the restoration. It is usually a painless procedure and afterwards the health of the underlying tooth (decay, sensitivity) is checked.
