Periodontal Splinting
Loose (mobile) teeth are fixed to adjacent healthy teeth from lingual surfaces using thin fiber strips or wires and composite resin. This distributes chewing forces evenly and prepares ground for periodontal tissues to heal without trauma.

Estimated duration: Temporary splints remain less than 6 months, medium-term splints months to a few years, permanent splints remain indefinitely.
